Because we work with vulnerable communities and deploy technologies such as UAVs and community data systems, we hold ourselves to clear safeguards and open reporting. Safeguarding Commitment
We apply safeguarding and ethics policies designed to protect the communities we serve — with particular care for women, children, and marginalised groups — across all field operations, data collection, and technology deployment.
Regulatory Compliance
- All UAV operations strictly adhere to Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) regulations, using certified pilots and legally registered equipment.
- Community, field, and geospatial data is handled in compliance with the Kenya Data Protection Act (2019) and GDPR. See our Privacy Policy.

Our governance approach is guided by the Leave No One Behind principle. Program design, safeguarding, data collection, and reporting must consider the needs of women, children, youth, persons with disabilities, and underserved communities so that technology-enabled development does not exclude the people it is meant to serve.
